To Be One Ask One

Masonic regulations prohibit the solicitation of Lodge membership to non-members. How do you become a Mason then? In order to become a Freemason you must ask a Freemason to become a Brother. There is a formal process that each Lodge adheres to within each Masonic Jurisdiction. You can ask a Freemason for membership information. If you do not know a Mason, you should contact the Grand Lodge of your Jurisdiction. For instance, I live in Oregon. If I wanted to become a Freemason, I would contact the Grand Lodge of Oregon AF&AM. I would ask for an introduction to a Freemason from a Lodge near where I reside.
